The UI/UX Designing and Graphic Designing course spans twelve weeks, introducing students to fundamental design concepts, methodologies, and tools. In the initial weeks, students explore the distinctions between UI/UX and graphic design, delve into visual perception, and learn about design psychology. They engage in user research, understand information architecture, and practice wireframing and prototyping techniques
CERTIFICATION
Later sessions introduce graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, covering design principles such as color theory, typography, and layout. Students create logos, visual assets, and delve into UI design software like Figma and Adobe XD. As the course progresses, students explore design systems, interactive prototyping, and advanced UI/UX for mobile applications. They also learn about user interface animation, accessibility considerations, and design trends. The course includes modules on advanced graphic design for branding, marketing, and advertising, as well as motion graphics and animation basics. Students apply their skills to design for social media, e-commerce, gamification, and interactive experiences. They develop their design portfolios and presentation skills, utilizing AI tools for design creation. The capstone project allows students to apply their knowledge to a comprehensive design project, covering ideation, prototyping, branding, and final implementation. The course concludes with portfolio presentation, exploration of freelance and career opportunities, and strategies for building a strong online presence and networking in the design community. Through lectures, supervised labs, assignments, and exams, students acquire the necessary skills and knowledge for a career in UI/UX and graphic design.
