Islamabad, 3 September 2025 — Hazza Institute of Technology has joined hands with the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) to provide internationally recognized vocational training to beneficiaries under the Benazir Hunarmand Programme.
A meeting was held at BISP Headquarters where Senator Rubina Khalid, Chairperson BISP, met with Hazza Institute’s Managing Director, Mr. Azhar Sindhu, and Board member to discuss a pilot project for skills development.
The initiative will begin with an initial batch of 50 beneficiaries, who will receive training in construction, hospitality, and healthcare, along with essential soft skills such as work ethics, behavior, and personal hygiene, communications skills, cross-cultural harmony.
During the discussion, Senator Rubina Khalid highlighted the importance of aligning vocational training with job opportunities both at home and abroad. “We must ensure that these trainings meet international standards, enabling our beneficiaries to uplift their families and contribute effectively to the workforce,” she stated.
Mr. Sindhu reaffirmed the Hazza Institute’s mission of empowering youth through future-ready skills. “Hazza Institute is committed to delivering training that matches international benchmarks and responds to the demands of global industries. Through this collaboration with BISP, we aim not only to enhance employability but also to create pathways for beneficiaries to secure sustainable livelihoods in Pakistan and overseas markets,” he said.
Following the meeting, Senator Rubina Khalid visited the Hazza Institute of Technology Islamabad campus, where she was briefed by the management team on the Hazza Institute’s training modules and performance. She also toured the training facilities and interacted with trainees enrolled in plumbing, electrician, welding, driving, languages, and IT Labs.
The visit concluded with the presentation of a souvenir to the BISP Chairperson by the Hazza Institute management in recognition of her commitment to promoting skills-based empowerment, and alleviating the poverty from pakistan
