Hazza Institute of Technology and Pakistan Engineering Council Sign Memorandum of Agreement to Enhance Employable Digital Skills

Islamabad, Pakistan – Hazza Institute of Technology (HIT) and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) on February 2, 2023, to establish a framework of cooperation in enhancing Employable Digital Skills for engineers.

The MoA was signed by Mr. Azhar Sindhu, Managing Director of Hazza Institute of Technology, and Eng. Dr. Nasir Mehmood Khan, Secretary/Registrar Pakistan Engineering Council.

The MoA aims to strengthen the relationship between HIT and PEC and foster collaboration in areas of mutual interest, including the development of engineering curricula, research programs, and faculty and student exchange programs including the development of Employable Digital Skills.

Mr. Azhar Sindhu expressed his gratitude for the partnership and stated, “We are delighted to partner with Pakistan Engineering Council to create opportunities for our students to learn from experts and gain practical experience through digital skills. This partnership will further enhance the employability ratio for young engineers in Pakistan.”

Engr. Dr. Nasir Mehmood Khan stated, ” In today’s technology-driven world, an understanding of both the engineering field and information technology can give an individual a competitive edge in the job market. We are confident that this collaboration will result in the development of future leaders in the field of engineering who will contribute to the progress and development of the country.”

The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from HIT and PEC, as well as representatives from the engineering industry.
